Aconteceu nesta quinta feira, 24/06, em Canarana MT, um encontro estratégico, entre secretários de turismo municipais, prefeitos e presidentes de conselhos municipais de Turismo.
A reunião serviu para os representantes de 7 Municípios do Araguaia, Barra do Garças, Nova Xavantina, Campinápolis, Canarana, Ribeirão Cascalheira, Querencia e Cocalinho, apresentarem os resultados obtidos com o estudo de potencialidades turísticas realizado pelo SEBRAE-MT nos municípios participantes da IGR Portal do Araguaia na intenção de promover um turismo regional .
“E nesse encontro todos Secretários puderam se conhecer e estreitar os laços ,um novo passo para o turismo da região”. Afirmou a Secretária de Turismo e Meio Ambiente de Nova Xavantina, Geysa Ribeiro Braga Leão.
A IGR Portal do Araguaia: é uma instância de Governança Regional que conta com a participação do poder público e dos agentes privados dos municípios componentes das regiões turísticas, com o papel de coordenar o Programa em âmbito regional.
A secretária de Turismo Geysa, acrescentou dizendo que esta integração é importante porque o turista que vem de longe na maioria das vezes, vem para conhecer uma região e não só uma cidade, onde esta afinidade entre estes municípios somam forças e faz a diferença para um desenvolvimento do turismo regional como um todo.
