Durante diligências a POLICIA MILITAR de Nova Xavantina, logra êxito, prendendo inicialmente um dos correrias do tráfico, que buscava entorpecente com um dos chefes de organização criminosa, e em continuidade a ação policial, o chefe também foi preso, em sua residência, local usado para traficar e guardar materiais ilícitos.
Grande parte do material apreendido, cerca de 55 munições de calibre 38, quase 1 kg em entorpecentes entre maconha e pasta base de cocaína e balança de precisão, foram encontrados enterrados no quintal do chefe da quadrilha, em locais diversos.
Tal ação contou com o apoio da Polícia Judiciária Cívil.
Os suspeitos presos foram entregues a disposição da autoridade policial e o chefe da quadrilha poderá responder por crimes como Tráfico de drogas, Associação para o tráfico, porte ilegal de armas, formação de quadrilha e outros.
