Na manhã deste sábado, por volta das 10:00, a guarnição do Corpo de Bombeiros de Nova Xavantina, se deslocou até o Setor Xavantina, atendendo a solicitação de uma moradora, acerca de uma serpente que estaria no telhado de sua residência.
No local, a guarnição verificou que tratava -se de uma Jiboia, medindo cerca de 01(um) metro de comprimento.
A serpente estava sobre a estrutura de cobertura da varanda, de onde foi capturada e logo devolvida ao seu habitat natural.
