Hoje por volta das 15:00, a guarnição do Corpo de Bombeiros de Nova Xavantina, realizou corte de uma árvore, do tipo Jatobá, de grande porte, que oferecia risco iminente de queda sobre edificação. A solicitação foi feita pelo proprietário da residência, que informou que a árvore apresentava risco de queda. Tal informação foi confirmada por militares da 4ª CIBM que estiveram no local realizando vistoria. O corte foi realizado, para garantir a segurança dos moradores e frequentadores do local.
