NOVA XAVANTINA – A Polícia Federal em Barra do Garças/MT prendeu em flagrante delito, na manhã desta terça-feira (23/02), no município de Nova Xavantina, um homem identificado como sendo proprietário e responsável pelas atividades de uma rádio clandestina que funcionava naquele Município.
Após o tratamento de denúncias que chegaram ao conhecimento da Polícia Federal em Barra do Garças/MT de que determinada rádio funcionava em Nova Xavantina sem a competente concessão, permissão ou autorização de serviço, foram iniciadas diligências policiais para identificação e prisão em flagrante delito do proprietário e responsável pela referida rádio. Foram ainda apreendidos os equipamentos que eram utilizados para o desenvolvimento da atividade ilícita, interrompidos pela PF e Fiscalização Federal da ANATEL na presente data.
Ressalte-se que rádios clandestinas emitem sinais eletromagnéticos que podem interferir na comunicação entre as torres de controle com as aeronaves brasileiras e, com isso, provocar acidentes fatais, dentre outras diversas consequências indesejáveis como a interferência nos meios de comunicação devidamente autorizados.
O Auto de Prisão em Flagrante foi imediatamente remetido à Justiça Federal para providências cabíveis, com previsão de penas de até 04 anos de detenção para o delito (art. 183 da Lei 9.472/97). (Setor de Comunicação Social da Delegacia
